A big day for CCOs. New and rewritten contingency contracting modules went live: OCS for Dummies Part 2 (BOS, the JRRB no-shit rundown, Annex W products, SPOT/JAMMS, the handoff card), Establishing DoDAACs, Purchasing Food and Water in a Contingency, SF 44 Purchases, MIPRs in a Deployed Environment, and a full rewrite of the Field Ordering Officer Program. AFCAP framing was tightened across the contingency hub. Start at the Contingency Contracting Field Desk and work outward. Cleanup: 10 new songs on ContractingFM, a few small bugs squashed, and a tighter quality filter on RFO vs legacy FAR citations. The site has always tried to flag when content pulls specifically from the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, but you'll now see more explicit clarification when training is RFO-sourced versus legacy FAR. Old guidance should not sneak through. A note on cadence: expect fewer announcements going forward as we lean into quality of content over quantity of releases. Rest assured, I am still obsessed with bringing you updates.

KTHQ Community is live. I added a forum for contracting questions, tool support, warrant prep, FAR/DFARS discussion, PWS help, COR topics, and feature requests. Keep examples sanitized: no CUI, PII, source-selection information, contractor proprietary information, or live acquisition details.

Customer Education suite is complete. All sixteen pages of the Customer Education track are live. Topics span package basics, describing the need, schedules, acceptance criteria, deliverables (with a CDRL deeper dive), evaluation factors, IGCEs, single-source evidence, recompetes, COR nominations, contract changes, and performance failures. Built for program managers, requiring activities, and resource folks who hand work to COs — start at the hub.

Acquisition Package Preflight. A new browser-only package readiness checker is live. Answer structured questions, keep sensitive details out of the tool, and get a printable memo with showstoppers, gaps, strengths, and KTHQ links to fix the package before solicitation.

SAT Warrant Study Guide. A study guide tailored for SAT-level warrants is live. Same study format as the unlimited-warrant guide but pitched at the actual scope and decision-making a SAT-level CO will face on a board. Lower knowledge ceiling, less Part 15 deep cuts, more bread-and-butter Part 12 / Part 13 / commercial item rhythm.

CCO Capstone builders. UDMs and UTMs, new training swag is up. Four document generators are live: Form 9, 1449 / SF30, 1442, and BPA. Use them to build injects, sample contracts, or prior workload to populate a fictional shop for hands-on training. Heads up: clauses are illustrative and not vetted, so don't reuse any of this in a real package. Find them on the Tools page under UDM Tools.

CORs landing page. Created a place for Contracting Officer's Representatives. Indexed the existing COR training (annual file reviews, Type A, contract-specific) and added a roadmap of what's coming. CORs vastly outnumber COs and deserve their own track.
